Accessibility Statement
Kaido's mission is to help as many people as possible with their health and wellbeing. We want everyone to be able to use our services and strive to ensure that our content meets accessibility standards.
We've created our website with the following aims:
The text should be clear and simple to understand. You should be able to zoom in up to 300% without the text spilling off the screen
You should be able to navigate most of the site using just a keyboard
You should be able to navigate most of the site using speech recognition software
You should be able to listen to most of the site using a screen reader (including the most recent version of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver).
How accessible is the front-facing website?
Our “front-facing website” means everything at https://kaido.org that does not start with https://kadio.org/app. It is intended to explain how Kaido works, but is not needed to be accessed by employees of customers.
Compliance status
This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA standard, due to the non-compliances listed below.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons.
Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations
We use reCAPTCHA on our Get Started form.
We do not assume responsibility for our scheduling partner - Calendly
Some images do not have suitable alternative text. This will be rectified by end of June 2021.
Disproportionate burden
Our sample report (http://kaido.org/sample-report) is normally provided as a PDF, but we have provided an HTML version for easier viewing online. However, some charts and information in that report are not accessible, and the context of some content is not clear without visual cues. Making these accessible would prove to be a disproportionate burden.
Audit
This website was last tested on 4th December 2020. The test was carried out internally. We considered all pages on the website.
The next test is planned for July 2021.
How accessible is the Kaido app?
Our "Kaido app" means everything at https://kaido.org/app. These are used by employees of our customers. The vast majority of the app meets accessibility guidelines for contrast, sizing and navigability. However, some areas do not meet our standards and are currently being rectified. We expect these to be finished by the end of June 2021.
Compliance status
This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA standard, due to the non-compliances listed below.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons.
Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations
Some links and buttons are not understandable out of context
Some images do not have suitable alternative text
Some secondary headings do not have high enough contrast
One tab-pane is not navigable via keyboard.
Some modals do not announce properly on screenreaders
Two charts need explanatory aria labels.
Some links require clearer focus styling.
We are working to rectify all non-compliances by the end of June 2021.
Disproportionate burden
We provide an end-of-challenge summary report to a customer's primary wellbeing champion as a PDF. We can also provide a more accessible HTML version for easier viewing online. However, some charts and information in that report are not accessible, and the context of some content is not clear without visual cues. Making these accessible would prove to be a disproportionate burden. We can provide, if required for accessibility reasons, a written report with formatting and styling removed, that outlines the data.
Some videos that we link to, which are created by third-parties do not have subtitles. We cannot edit those videos.
The iOS and Android apps are replicas of the website. We do not currently have the resource to create seperate, fully accesible versions of the apps, so recommend visually-impared employees use our web-version rather than native apps.
